Synopsis

Don’t let my petite and innocent appearance fool you, because I’m one person you don’t want to cross. I’m Micah, the youngest member of Resurrection…If only they knew how young.

My fake ID says I’m twenty-one. And I will be…in four years.

What can I say? I blossomed early. Home sucked, so I left, determined to do something with my life.
Landing the gig as lead vocalist in the band was a dream come true. I’ve worked hard to make something of myself and nothing is going to ruin that for me.

Then He showed up. Saxon Waite, ex bad boy of rock.

He’s hot as hell and so into me.

But he’s also twenty-five.

I don’t want to lie to him, but if the truth comes out I’ll lose everything. Including him.

My Review

This rockstar romance by Missy Johnson did not disappoint. If you love a short, sweet, sexy little story that is sure to make you laugh then you will thoroughly enjoy getting your hands on rock god Saxon Waite and the spunky, sassy Micah.

After aquiring a fake identity at the young age of 14 Micah left her childhood home. Her home life sucked for many reasons and because of those she is now a very guarded person with very few friends, Micah has built her walls up so high, no one can get past them. That is until, she meets ex rock god Saxon Waite at a bar where she is auditioning for a lead singing role in the hot band, Resurrection.

He's her manager, he's also years older than her. She's lying to him, the band and everyone else. Will they find out her real age and her fake identity? You will have to get your copy of Wicked Innocence to find out!

I must admit, I was super excited to read this book. I am a big Missy Johnson fan and honestly, who doesn't love a hot rockstar romance!! I will say however this story was not quite what I was expecting. It was sweeter, not as raunchy and while I adored Saxon, he wasn't as 'alpha' as I was hoping he would be. I also had trouble at times connecting with Micah. Although, I do feel it was because of her  young age. In saying that, I still enjoyed reading this book! I was keen to see where It was headed and I'm really hoping for more from these characters. Another great romance from Missy!
