Synopsis
Sometimes trust is the toughest lesson to learn.
Sophie Shaw is days away from signing a contract that will fulfill her dream of owning a vineyard. For her, it’s a chance to restart her life and put past tragedies to rest. But Duncan Jamieson’s counter offer blows hers out to sea.

Duncan still finds Sophie as appealing as he had during boyhood vacations to the lake. Older and wiser now, he has his own reasons for wanting the land. His offer, however, hinges on a zoning change approval.

Bribery rumors threaten the deal and make Sophie wary of Duncan, yet she cannot deny his appeal. When her journalistic research uncovers a Jamieson family secret, trust becomes the hardest lesson for them both.

My Review
Share the Moon was an interesting read filled with likeable characters going through realistic every day problems. The story is set in a small town, the character development of these people was fantastic, each character was very well written and we gained a lot of knowledge about them without it being too much. The main characters, Duncan and Sophie are in their forties and are going through the motions of life that come with having teenage children, ex partners and so on. And on top of that they have to deal with small minded people in their very small town. The drama was never over the top as these two are very mature. I appreciated this and enjoyed the change of pace this book provided. I would have however loved some more sexy moments between the couple, and  I will also mention it does take awhile for Duncan and Sophie to actually get together. For me, this was an issue,  I felt the progression was very slow to begin with and it did take me awhile to get fully immersed in the story.

Overall, Share the Moon had fun, quirky moments that made me giggle but also held depth and emotion behind it's characters and their lives. A bit light and fluffy when it comes to the sexy side of things but still an enjoyable read.
