Blurb:

It’s just a docuseries about your career as an OB/GYN, they said.
It won’t interrupt your life during or after filming, they said.
It is a great opportunity for the hospital and your practice, they said.

Well, they—the television executives who seem intent on ruining my career and personal life with a fair number of creative liberties—lied.
Now I’m stuck dealing with the consequences of believing them.

Instead of being known as Dr. Will Cummings, Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospital, I’m now being called Dr. Obscene.

What I’d hoped to earn in respect, I’ve instead received in patients flashing me seductive smiles and flirtatious winks during their exams.

How’s a guy supposed to convince the most perfect woman he’s ever met that he’s not as much of an idiot in real life as he appears to be on camera?

With all of the show’s shenanigans following me around like a parasite, it’s going to take a lot to persuade Melody Marco to be anything more than my new nurse, but I can’t get her out of my head.

I want her.

Good thing I’ve never been one to back away from a challenge…

Get ready, Melody.

The Doctor is in.

Disclaimer:

9 out of 10 doctors recommend Dr. OB...No. You know what? F*ck it. TEN OUT OF TEN doctors, including Dr. Will Cummings himself, recommend this book to just about everyone and their mothers.

Unless said someone and their mothers dislike a little dirty mouthed fun, some creative swearing, laughing so hard they lose bladder control, and awkwardly adorable meet-cutes between two unforgettable characters.

But honestly, if you and your mother don't like that stuff, you probably shouldn't read any of our books.

Disclaimer for the disclaimer: If you're feeling the doctor groove and getting ready to get your motherfluffing read on (everybody get your motherfluffling read on, what!...tell us you can hear the music too), make sure you've got an empty lane ahead. Once you start reading about Will and Melody, we promise...you won't want to stop.

My Review

What a hilarious start to a new series (and more from some past favorites)! Dr. OB was a sweet and sexy romance that was bit silly in parts and emotional in others but wonderful all the same. Will was a hero that any romance lover with adore and Melody was a heroine that I could totally see myself in. If you've loved Max Monroe's previous works, this will be exactly what you are hoping for and if you're new to the duo, it's the perfect place to start.

Will is a head of the OB/GYN department at St. Luke's hospital and recently agreed to be filmed for a reality show featuring him and two other doctors. But what he thinks will be a real look into the hospital is more of a lewd take on him personally. Now his patients are either disgusted by him or making appointments just to try and get to him. Melody hasn't heard of the new show when she moves back to New York after leaving her ex-boyfriend in Seattle. Living with her parents until she can get back on her feet, her mother sets her up with a job interview working for Dr. Cummings as his nurse. What starts as flirting turns into more but that reality show Will filmed before he ever knew Melody continues to be the bane of his existence.

I haven't had so much fun reading in a while. I laughed right from the dedication and didn't stop. It was a sweet and easy rom-com that I didn't want to put down. And if you thought you'd seen the last of those Billionaire Bad Boys, you are in for a fun surprise. Max Monroe weaves Melody and Will's story perfectly so that I was able to fall in love with them but come back to some of my favorites. And the hints at the next two stories in this series have me SO excited for more from this new series.
